CODA also won the Academy Award for ” Best Adapted Screenplay” and Troy Kotsur took home the Academy Award and swept award season winning for “Best Supporting Actor” and made Oscar History as the First Deaf Man to win an Academy Award for Acting.

CODA picked up awards in ensemble, producing and writing categories at the BAFTA Awards, Critic’s Choice Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, SAG Awards, Writer’s Guild Awards, and Producer Guild Awards.

At the SAG Awards CODA took home “Best Ensemble Cast” and at the Producer Guild Awards, CODA took home “Best Picture
