On January 16, 2018, stars of The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, Édgar Ramírez, and Darren Criss sat down with BUILD Series for an interview to discuss their new series. Ramírez plays the iconic fashion designer Gianni Versace, who was murdered outside his South Miami mansion in July 1997 by Andrew Cunanan, who is played by Criss in the second season of the American Crime Story anthology series on FX, and produced by Ryan Murphy.

Édgar Ramírez, and Darren Criss discuss the notorious murder and manhunt for the spree killer responsible for the murder of the Versace Italian luxury fashion house legacy, they also discuss playing the victim and murderer and what the process was like for them preparing for their roles of such iconic and real life people.
