Tower, this is GhostRider requesting a flyby..

I’m sure you can guess already what this week’s FEATURED BLOG film is!

In 1986, right in the middle of the decade of neon, headbangers and The Brat Pack, the movie Top Gun roared into theaters like an F-14 Tomcat. It got a direct hit at the box office and shot down just over $356 million, making it the 11th highest grossing movie of Tom Cruise’s career. The movie centers around Maverick, a US NAVY hot shot pilot, who is sent to the US Navy Fighter Weapons School, and the need for speed commences.

And now after waiting more than 30 years, the world finally gets to see Tom Cruise in action again as “Maverick” with real surreal F18 flying by the cast, so get ready to turn and burn baby!

Here’s an introduction to start off our “Top Gun Week”!!

A behind the scenes look at the intense aviation training Tom Cruise and the cast of Top Gun:Maverick went through to really pull off those Top Gun honors!
