The nominations for the 2023 Emmy Awards have been revealed, with Succession leading the pack with 24 nominations, The Last of Us, The White Lotus and Ted Lasso among those landing the most nominations. Actors earning nominations included Pedro Pascal for The Last of Us, Jeremy Strong for Succession, Quinta Brunson for Abbott Elementary and Jenny Ortega for Wednesday. This prestigious event honors the remarkable achievements in television programming, acknowledging the exceptional performances, captivating storytelling, and technical brilliance that continue to captivate audiences around the world. There were however, some notable names and series left off of the nominations list this year. Notable snubs included Harrison Ford missing out on nominations for Shrinking and 1923, Elizabeth Olsen not being nominated for Love & Death, while her co-star Jesse Plemons received a nomination, Selena Gomez and Steve Martin not making the cut as acting nominees for their roles in Only Murders in the Building, and the shutouts of Yellowstone and Snowfall.
