In addition to that, Michael B. Jordan stunned voting odds and Timothée Chalamet, by winning Male Actor in a Leading Role for the Ryan Coogler directed film, when odds had favored Chalamet for Marty Supreme.

SAG-AFTRA, the union organization that sponsors the Actor Awards, announced in December that the Life Achivement Award would be awarded to Harrison Ford. Woody Harrelson presented the award at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards.

Supremely Snubbed…
It appears the ping pong game is over early for Marty Supreme, even with nominations and accolades early on in the award season, the film was overall shut out at the Actor Awards. It was the same situation a couple weeks ago when the Josh Safdie film was shut out across the pond at the 2026 BAFTA Awards. Timothée Chalamet suffered his second best actor loss at the Actor Awards, after losing to Michael B. Jordan, and losing best actor to surprise winner Robert Aramayo for I Swear at the BAFTA Awards.

Odessa A’zion was nominated for Female Actor in a Supporting Role at the Actor Awards, and the film seemed to be a strong contender going into the race among SAG-AFTRA voters after the nominations were announced. The film ended up going home with nothing, while also shifting the race into the Academy Awards, where Marty Supreme is nominated for nine awards in major categories, including Best Picture.

Guillermo del Toro‘s Frankenstein also went home empty handed at the Actor Awards, and despite leading the Actor Awards with seven nominations, One Battle After Another only went home with one award for Male Actor in a Supporting Role, awarded to Sean Penn, who was not present to accept the trophy, Allison Janney accepted on his behalf. The Paul Thomas Anderson film was also nominated in the lead actor, lead actress, supporting actress, cast, and stunt ensemble catergories.

And, it appears the vacation is over at the Actor Awards for The White Lotus, which was completely shut out on the televison side of the awards.
