This month’s Featured Blog is the 2022 mystery murder thriller film, Where the Crawdads Sing, based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Delia Owens. You can watch the Official Trailer at the bottom of this page. It was directed by Olivia Newman and was produced by Reese Witherspoon for her production company, Hello Sunshine. The film features a leading cast that includes, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Taylor John Smith, Harris Dickinson, and David Strathairn. The film follows the story of an abandoned child, Catherine “Kya” Clark, who raised herself in the marshes of North Carolina and becomes a suspect in the murder of a man with whom she was once involved.
